Neff Soap Manufacturing was set up in July, 2000 and trades as a sole proprietor, Ms. Nerissa Nortey, the proprietor has over 14 years’ experience in the production of Alata Samina and the first entrepreneur to use advanced technology in the industry. The enterprise produces raw traditional soap (Alata Samina) from locally produced raw materials and also process and package the Alata Samina marketed as Ebony Fresh. Promoting a Ghanaian product which increases rural employment.
The Alata Samina commonly called the black soap is a traditional soap produced in Ghana. It is used in most households and it helps relieve the skin of various diseases as well as skin irritations and conditions such as Eczema and Psoriasis. Neff Soap Manufacturing processes the traditional soap and packages in plastic containers of 500grams each has been modernised to meet the contemporary market, and it comes in four fragrances: Lemon, Aloe Vera, Avocado and Pineapple. Ebony Fresh has been modernised.
Neff soap is registered with the Ghana Export Authority and has participated in international fairs in the West African sub regions and now Ebony Fresh is now known in Africa, Europe and the United States. Enquiries have been made from far as United Arab Emirates.
